WELCOME TO THE
HALLMARK RESEARCH INSTITUTE (HRI)
It is the goal of HRI to gather, disseminate and
bridge the
gap
of
hallmark images as seen by the observer to
information
the
hallmark represents that is often
lost to
translation.
The
Institute's
initial
historical
timeline
concentrates
primarily
on the
mid
19th
century to
current
date. In addition,
HRI strives
to clearly
explain the
hallmarking
systems
of
countries
across the globe
and
where
possible
define this
information
within
the
appropriate
historical
context.
HRI means of delivery is presently through
lectures and their recently published book, "World
Hallmarks - Vol. I - Europe, 19th-21st Centuries" covering
gold, silver, platinum, and palladium hallmarks of Europe.
